Kuang Si Falls has 3 levels that lead to a 50m drop into shallow pools, before flowing downstream. The pools are perfect for swimming and you can change into bathing suits in wooden huts near the entrance to the waterfall.
Surrounded by lush tropical jungle, the pools have waterfalls up to 5 meters high. If you don't feel like swimming, you can relax in the shade and watch others have fun jumping in and out of the water.
There are trails leading to the top of Kuang Si Falls, where you can see the stream feeding on the falls. Breathtaking waterfalls make Kuang Si one of Luang Prabang's most popular tourist attractions. It is worth taking the time to travel to the waterfall, as you will enjoy the view of the rice fields along the way.
A Hmong village where older village women still dress in traditional costumes is a great place to stop along the way. You can also buy their handmade items as a souvenir.
