This year we were unable to leave for Laos but, through our "Sons of Mine" Association, we have completed another important project.
Thanks to all of you we managed to reach the sum of $ 2300 which allowed us to buy 44 ceramic filters which were then distributed to the families of the village "Ban Narm Lieng" and to the school 2km away. Originally the water was collected from the river and then boiled to make it drinkable, now the filter greatly simplifies the purification process, making it faster and safer.
235 people will have healthier lives, but there are still many villages in rural areas without access to drinking water and electricity.
